Financial aid is very helpful to college students offering work study, scholarships and many other things. But financial aid only covers school - so how are students to pay for the rest of college living? Carlie Tuiasosopo is 22 and attending Texas State University. Tuiasosopo transferred this previous year and this will have been the third school she has gone to. "Transferring put me a little behind because some of my credits didn't transfer so I definitely will end up having an extra year of school," Tuiasosopo said. " I have financial aid and thank god I do because I could not pay for classes and school other wise. If I didn’t have financial aid I wouldn’t be here in San Marcos." Tuiasosopo is studying Advertising and Mass Communication at Texas State and currently is working at Nike in the outlet mall. “Working at nike, hopefully that will lead to something I can do in advertising. Brianna Duvall

When you graduate college, what do you expect to do? Do you go back home to live with mom and dad? Do you find a job related to the past 4 years of studying you've done? There are a few students who can tell you. Brianna Duvall, graduated from the University of Texas in December, 2016. She studied Advertising and has found a few internships over the past year related to what she studied but currently she is not working a job related to advertising. Duvall works at a gym in Austin, TX called Body Business Fitness Club. "I work at the gym because I enjoy working out and its easy. Paying off school definitely means that I have to keep working a job, even if it is unrelated to what I studied. Working here makes me social and also helps me with working out and finding little things and hobbies that make me happy,” Duvall said.  Duvall works with other friends at the gym who have not graduated yet but are also just working to pay off bills and finish school. ...
